I have always been in love with the alamo lore and history surrounding it and the texas war for independence, but as a woman I have always been curious what it would be like if there were depictions of an armed movement during this time period (or even much earlier) of women who fought in a place like the alamo, and all died there in defense of the ideals of the true life male depictions/reality. Someday, I hope someone writes a story about a situation like that, taking place in an Alamo like walled in living area where all the women die in the end to protect something they care for.
It could be in the 1800's or even something much earlier like human and elvish priestesses trying to defend their run down temple against an evil queen, and all dying for what they believe in.
These stories exist, but rarely have I seen them depicted as female centric. These sorts of stories are always the most romantic and tragic in my mind.
